I am mommy to three angels – the lights of my life.
I write about what moves me, about daily life, about what is going on in my heart of hearts.
I want this place to be a joy to those who read – a bright spot that points toward the most Beautiful – Jesus, who gave His life freely so we could spend eternity with Him.
This journey I am on is one toward the beauty of all God is, and all He created us to be. He intends beauty for our lives – not only in eternity, but in this life as well – beauty in our surroundings, in our bodies, in our relationships, and in our out-looks. He is the author of beauty, and He already sees that beauty in us.

Melanie….How Awesome, what a creative ministry, you and the blog are definitely on my prayer list. I feel like I am the only one here that speaks freely of Christ’s love………so many “Christians” but when you bring up a devotion or prayer request they act like you are speaking another language, and some of the stuff they loudly stand for is in direct opposition to the Word….REFRESHING to see someone else in this school walking the walk and not just talking the talk.

Thanks for reading, Tom, and thank you for your prayers. The educational system is a tough place in so many ways. It’s hard to know what is allowed and what isn’t. I’m kind of feeling my way after being in a Christian school for so long. Whole different world. What always gets me is how many of the kids themselves will often speak plainly about their faith. I love that.
